Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers a beautiful setting with stunning views over Lake Torneträsk, and the rooms, though small, were clean and cozy. The breakfast was good, but the dining options were limited during my stay. While the amenities were functional, more options would definitely enhance the experience, especially for families or those looking for activities beyond skiing.
I had a wonderful experience staying at the hotel, particularly enjoying the breathtaking views from our cabin and the friendly atmosphere. The staff were accommodating, but some aspects, like the additional charges for bedding, caught me off guard. The location was simply stunning, making it ideal for outdoor adventures, though a bit challenging without a car. Overall, our stay was memorable and filled with unique experiences.
My stay at Kappas Cabins was a mixed experience. The breathtaking views and the chance to see the Northern Lights from the heated cabin were unforgettable highlights. However, the cleanliness level of the bathrooms was quite disappointing, and the cabin itself felt somewhat underprepared with basic amenities missing. The dining options were limited during our visit, which was a letdown for a hotel of this standard.
The hotel offers a solid option for skiing enthusiasts, located right on the slopes and providing stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The rooms are compact but comfortable, perfect for a short stay, though the bathrooms could use some improvements. The dining experience is highlighted by a diverse buffet breakfast, which was a nice start to the day. However, the remote location may limit dining choices unless you have a vehicle, and the service could be more attentive.
During my stay, I was blown away by the stunning views from the hotel, especially when catching the Northern Lights from our cabin. The breakfast was satisfying and diverse, and the staff were incredibly accommodating, arranging transport to and from the train station. However, I faced some issues with my room assignment and the Wi-Fi connectivity was disappointing in the room. Overall, it was a memorable experience, but there is room for improvement in certain areas.
